The stars of Sajid Nadiadwala's multi-starrer Kambakkht Ishq -- Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora, Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh -- are looking very hot and glamorous in the film. And the designers must get some credit too.

Freida Pinto, the star in the Oscar-winning film, Slumdog Millionaire, has leaped ahead of her Indian rivals to become the highest paid actress in Bollywood, a news report said.

Following the success of Slumdog, which took home eight Oscars and whose worldwide box office receipts so far are estimated at over $ 270 million, the Indian model-turned-actress has landed a series of lucrative roles with top directors, including Woody Allen and Julian Schnabel.

According to a report, Freida Pinto has pushed ahead of her colleagues Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, to become the highest paid actress in India.

There was never a doubt that Kareena was the most talented and most powerful actress in the industry. Now it's certainly proved that she is the most powerful actress in the industry with her induction in the international leading magzines power list for 2009. Kareena is the only women in the male dominated list; this itself proves her strong character to be the best. The day wont be far when she would be the top of the power list. This domination of Kareena itself sets the brand Bebo apart and the highest paid actress deserves every appreciation which comes her way. The actress has successfully carved an identity in the male dominated industry. The highest paid actress today commands a price that only top production banners and corporates can afford. The 10th rank will surely turn her rival green with envy.

Kareena is also high on her movie which would be hitting the screen this year. Sources close to her say that, "Kareena feels very obliged to be present amongst the greats of the film industry and it's her sheer hard work which has bought her till here."
